ABOUT RIVER

River MacLeod (they/them) is a Chicago-based emerging artist. They enjoy creating abstracts and figural portraiture, using a variety of 2D mediums. Recently, River has been delving into acrylic work, and they have a large body of watercolors. They also enjoy digital art and graphic design. River is inspired by emotional expression and strives to create work that is both evocative and beautiful.

River has been exhibiting in Chicagoland galleries since 2023, and is excited to continue sharing their art.
